They're planning that everywhere. 2030 or 2035 seems to be the only choice. But that's then a proof of the base contention above. *Unless* govt exerises its power over us then we consumers have power over the capitalists.

If producers are banned from producing the products that customers want to buy it’s not what I’d call a free market!
That's why we need a consumer boycott of EV's. If the majority refuse to buy then the Big Corps will have to push back.
Nothing against EV's it is the lack of choice that is the issue.
